In 2003, she graduated with honors from the State University – Higher School of Economics with a degree in Law.

In the period from November 16 to December 15, 2006, as part of the TACIS project “Convergence of Competition Standards”, she successfully completed an internship at the Directorate General for Competition of the European Commission.

In December 2007, she defended her Master’s thesis for a Master’s degree in Law on the topic “Antimonopoly regulation of the insurance and banking services market: the experience of the Commission and the possibility of its application in Russia” at the European Training Institute at MGIMO (U) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.

Olga Sergeeva has been working in the antimonopoly authorities since 2003. Prior to joining the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia, she held the position of a leading specialist in the Antimonopoly Control Department of the Legal Department of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Policy and Small Business Support (MAP of Russia).

From 2004 to 2006, she worked as a chief specialist, then Deputy Head of the Insurance Market Department of the Financial Services Control and Supervision Department of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS of Russia).

In March 2006, she headed the Banking Services Market Department in this department. Since April 2008, she has supervised the work of this department as Deputy Head of the Financial Markets Control Department of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia.
